Life in Old Yavapai

This presentation is housed in the original exhibit building that Sharlot Hall had built in 1936. It includes a capsule history of Prescott and Yavapai County told through interpretive vignettes, as well as photographs and historic artifacts that round out the story of the territory’s pioneers. Information about the early military and Fort Whipple, mining, ranching, railroading and town buildings are included in the exhibits, as well as an interactive kiosk featuring information on women in the Territorial Rose Garden, and a few children’s video games.
