Yarnell Public Library

The Yarnell Public Library is located at 22278 North Highway 89 (phone: 520-427-3191). It has extensive, unique information on the area as well as a large collection of local newspapers and newsletters. The library also contains important published material about proposed local mining projects.

"Yavapai County and Yarnell History Scrapbooks." Three scrapbooks: the first has about 100 pages; the other two are smaller (approximately 40 pp)
They include travel and local brochures, post cards, photos, clippings, generally of historical materials, in journals or local papers, written up in the 1980s.
Some of the post cards and a few photos are historic (from the turn of the century); some are from the 1940s, up to late 1990s.
Large original print of a photo of Yarnell Gold Mining Co., Arizona Photograph Co., Prescott Arizona, not dated, but it has to be turn of the century or before, judging by hats.
