Prescott Public Library

The Prescott Public Library is located at 215 East Goodwin Street (phone: 520-445-8110). Most of the information in this library's vertical files that would be of interest to researchers has been photocopied from other sources, primarily the Sharlot Hall Museum. Though these materials are not necessarily unique, the information contained in the vertical files should be very helpful to many researchers.

    Vertical files
We have listed information only from the files marked "Prescott" (four file drawers) and further limited listings to those files with fairly sizable collections of clippings or information on Yavapai County. Because they are not pertinent to the aims of this project, we have not listed information on materials located in vertical file drawers labeled "Arizona" or "General Subjects."
