The 30th Annual Folk Music Festival
Saturday and Sunday
October 4 and 5, 2008
10:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Sharlot Hall Museum
Prescott, AZ
Enjoy the best of Arizona acoustic music, including fiddle, banjo, guitar, harmonica, mandolin, dulcimer and singers, songwriters and storytellers.
Six venues on the beautiful Museum grounds present concerts, workshops and dancing. Visitors can join in the Sunday morning gospel sing, learn to play the harmonica or delve into the art of songwriting.
Come discover the songs of territorial Arizonans — the cowboys, miners, braceros and railroad men who enriched their arduous lives with music. Your old favorites will be here, as well as some new faces and voices.
Admission is by donation.
