Sharlot Hall Museum Creates Centennial Advisory Council The Sharlot Hall Museum has created a Centennial Advisory Council whose state-wide members will serve as ambassadors for the museum throughout Arizona and the United States as the state celebrates its centennial in 2012. The 15-member council is a non-governing body that will help increase awareness of Sharlot Hall Museum’s and the Prescott area’s role in Arizona’s rich history. The council members are Ambassador Barbara Barrett, Ambassador Raul Castro, Dr. Fred Christensen, Jacquie Dorrance, Jane W. I. Droppa, Stevie Eller, Ambassador Robert Fannin, Sandra S. Froman, Craig L. Krumwiede, Justice Sandra Day O’Connor (Ret.), The Honorable May Sue Talley, Betsy S. Taylor, Bruce Theony, Gay F. Wray and Julie Ann Wrigley. The members bring backgrounds in advocacy, politics, preservation, sustainability, ranching and philanthropy to the task of promoting the museum. With state and national renown plus deep ties to the Prescott area, they will complement local efforts to raise awareness of the museum. “Like Sharlot Hall in her lifetime, these individuals have pursued their passions and have helped build the amazing Arizona we live in today,” notes Boo Nicholson, the museum’s development coordinator.
