SUSIE MAHONY CROSE
Susie was born on April 16, 1890, in Prescott, Arizona Territory, daughter of John and Elizabeth Mahony. She attended Washington School and graduated from Prescott High School in 1911, from Tempe Normal School in 1913, and taught school in Kirkland and Walnut Grove.

At Prescott on September 19, 1915, she married Jesse E. Crose. Jesse had moved with his family to Prescott in a covered wagon in 1903. He worked for the Bashford-Burmister Co. and later for the Santa Fe Railroad.

Upon their marriage, Susie and Jesse moved into the house Jesse had built at 224 South Virginia Street, where Susie would live for the rest of her life. Susie and Jesse had one daughter, Ina Ruth Crose Perry.

Susie was a housewife most of her life and a charter member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Prescott.

She died on September 19, 1975, and was buried in Odd Fellows Cemetery.
