OLIVE BIRCH HAWKINS
Olive was born in February 1857 in Glasco (Glasgow), Missouri.

She married John J. Hawkins, who became one of Arizona's foremost lawyers, on May 5, 1885, in Howard, Missouri. He was accepted to the Missouri Bar in 1878. In 1883, they moved to Prescott where John partnered with the Honorable J. C. Herndon.

Hawins served in the 7th Territorial Legislature. He was later named Associate Justice of the Arizona Supreme Court.

They had one child, a daughter. Eliza was born July 1, 1897 in Prescott. The Hawkins lived at 122 (114) South Mt. Vernon St. They were active members of the Protestant Episcopal Church.

Olive died January 30, 1926, in Los Angeles, California.
