Territorial Women's Memorial Rose Garden
LOUISA ELIZABETH F. WILSON

Louisa was born in 1820. She married Charles Francis Wilson in Missouri. Her daughter, Florence Herndon, and her granddaughter, Florence Russell, are also represented in the Rose Garden.

Louisa had been a teacher in her young womanhood. She made her home with her daughter in Prescott and with her was one of the founders of the History and Poetry Study Group. Her fine qualities of mind and heart endeared her to her wide circle of friends.

Louisa died in Prescott in 1900 and was buried in the Masonic Cemetery.
