Territorial Women's Memorial Rose Garden
LAURA HOPPER COCHRAN
Laura was born on August 6, 1892, the daughter of Elizabeth and Monroe Hopper, and grew up at Camp Verde, Arizona Territory. In 1920, she was Yavapai County Superintendent of Schools. She married Mr. Cochran.

In 1932, she married Lex Wall. They lived on their Vee Seven Quarter Circle Ranch on Clear Creek, five miles south and east of Camp Verde.

Laura was a member of the Yavapai County Cowbelles. Her mother, Elizabeth Wine, is also represented in the Rose Garden. Laura died August 3, 1955, and was buried in the Cottonwood Cemetery.
