LAURA C. DIGBY PERKINS
Laura was born on January 15, 1886, in Cold Springs, Kentucky, the daughter of Sarah Murnan Digby.
She married Robert Elisha Perkins, a member of a pioneer Yavapai County cattle family, on June 4, 1910, and came to Prescott as a bride. The Perkinses operated the Deep Well Ranch, located north of Prescott.
Laura was a member of the Yavapai County and Arizona Cattle Growers Association as well as the Yavapai Cowbelles. She belonged to the Congregational Church.
Her only son, Robert Marion, born July 20, 1920, was killed on Manus Island in the Pacific Theater of World War II.
Laura died on June 5, 1966, and was buried in Mountain View Cemetery.
