HENRIETTA F. PARKER BASHFORD
"Etta" was the daughter of George R. and Emily Parker. She came to Arizona in 1876. On September 17, 1879, she married Coles Allen Bashford, the son of Levi and Helen Louise Allen Bashford.
Their wedding was the grandest affair of its kind that ever took place in Prescott. Carpets were spread from the Parker home to the Methodist-Episcopal Church, where Parson Gilmore performed the ceremony.
Etta and Coles had four children: Harold (1880), Carrie (1881), Katherine (1885) and Edith Mary (1891).
Her mother, Emily Parker, is also represented in the Sharlot Hall Memorial Rose Garden.
Donor: Mrs. John York
