FLORENCE FRANCES PAFFORD CLINE

Florence was born on August 17, 1892, in Del Rio, Texas. She married William James Cline, who operated Cline Motor Company, on September 28, 1910, in Alpine, Texas. They had two children: William, Jr., and Luresa L. (Mrs. Robert) Armour. Their residence was at 310 E. Union Street in Prescott, Arizona.

Florence was a Christian Scientist and a member of Eastern Star. She was a president of the Elks Ladies, chieftess of the Smoki, and president of the Alta Vista Garden Club. She belonged to the Monday Club, the Business and Professional Women's Club, Prescott Garden Club, TNT Sewing Club, and the Rug Hookers Club.

In December 1900, she "presided at the piano and discoursed sweet strains of music during the evening" of the Herndons' 25th wedding anniversary celebration. The Clines themselves celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary in 1960. Florence took up painting when she was in her 80s. She died August 10, 1985.
