ELLA DAITY HADLEY HICKS
On November 15, 1884, Ella was born in Paris, Illinois, the daughter of Nancy Jane and Everett Levi Hadley. She married William Emmett Hicks on June 3, 1903, in Indianapolis, Indiana. They came to Prescott in 1912.

Ella and Everett had three sons and one daughter: Hadley (1905), Frances (1907), Taylor (1909), and William E., Jr. (1913). The Hicks lived at 234 North Washington Street.

Ella was a member of the Rebecca Horn Auxiliary #2 of the United Spanish War Veterans, of the General George Crook Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, and of the Prescott Baptist Church.

She died on July 9, 1961, and was buried in Mountain View Cemetery.
