Territorial Women's Memorial Rose Garden
DOROTHY KRENNING HEISLER
Dorothy or Dollie was born in 1871 in Illinois, daughter of Catharina Simpson and Francis Krenning. In 1891, she married George Heisler, who owned a brewery. They had three daughters: Helen Henry, Katherine "Katie" Hartung and Carol "Carrie" Tipton.

Dollie was widowed in 1913. In the 1920s Dollie and May Roberts operated Roberts and Heisler Millinery and Ladies Ready-to-Wear on Gurley Street.

In 1913, she lived at 508 S. Cortez St. She belonged to the Rebekah Lodge and the Christian Science Church.

Her aunt Kate Simpson and her daughter Carrie are also represented in the Rose Garden.

Dollie died in August 1954 and was buried in Mountain View Cemetery.
