Territorial Women's Memorial Rose Garden
CLARA MACFARLAND
Clara was born February 10, 1902, in Hibbing, Minnesota.

She and her husband Harold, a writer for a national syndicate, came to Arizona in the 1920s.

Clara was active in the community as a member of the Monday Club, X. M. C. Club, Mountain Club, Sportsman's Club, the Jeep Posse, the Litterbug Campaign, the United Fund, and the Gem and Mineral Society.

She served as a Regent of Count Coletta, a Catholic women's organization, and as president of the Prescott Garden Club.

Clara died June 5, 1963, in her home at 741 Copper Basin Road and was buried at Mountain View Cemetery.
