ANTONIA SILVA MINUCCI
Antonia was born in Turin, Italy, on August 21, 1884. She married Francisceim (Frank) Minucci, a miner, on January 8, 1902, in Iron Mountain, Michigan. They had six children, Martha Boyle (1902), Mary Woods (1904), Josephine Caro (1908), Frank (1906), Henrietta (Mickey) Shoemaker (1913), and Walter (1918).

The Minucci family came to Arizona in 1912, living first in Poland, the former community for the Poland Mine in the Bradshaw Mountains and now a ghost town.

They moved into Prescott in 1919 and lived there for the remainder of their lives. Frank died in 1928, and Antonia continued to operate their rooming house, Frontier Rooms. She made beds, washed linens and kept the business going to support her six children.

Antonia was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She died on April 12, 1965, and was buried in Mountain View Cemetery.
