Territorial Women's Memorial Rose Garden
ANNA WARD ROBERTS
Anna, born in 1855, came to Arizona by wagon train in 1897 from Parawan, Utah. She married William "Ed" Roberts, who founded the town of Bonita near Fort Grant in Southern Arizona.

Anna and Ed had two daughters, Honora Nolan and Vernie Solomon, and lived at 140 N. Marina Street.

She was a Christian Scientist. Anna died in December 1940 and was buried in Mountain View Cemetery.
